Abstract

Trees first appeared on the earth around 360 million years ago. We now know from recent scientific studies that they have an effective communication system that links individual trees both through their roots and airborne transmitters. Many people sense the quality of their presence, enjoying walk- ing in forests and the benefits this brings to their mental wellbeing. This essay goes one step further and suggests that it is possible to establish altered state telepathic communication with trees that can be deeply meaningful. It further suggests that this connection is established through a wave state field of consciousness.

Resumen

Los árboles aparecieron por primera vez en la Tierra hace unos 360 millones de años. Estudios científicos recientes demuestran que poseen un sistema de comunicación eficaz que los conecta in- dividualmente a través de sus raíces y transmisores aéreos. Muchas personas perciben la calidad de su presencia, disfrutando de pasear por el bosque y de los beneficios que esto aporta a su bienestar mental. Este artículo va un paso más allá y sugiere que es posible establecer una comunicación telepática en estado alterado de consciencia con los árboles, la cual puede ser profundamente signi- ficativo. Además, sugiere que esta conexión se establece a través de un campo de consciencia en estado de onda (de mecánica cuántica onda/partícula).
